Obscure Commonality Game

As an ice-breaker my professor told us to find someone in the class who shared an obscure thing in common.

My partner and I discovered that we have both been sprayed with mace.

…I think we won the most obscure commonality game.

Guys and Girls Can’t Be Friends

Harry from “When Harry Met Sally” said it best.

Harry Burns: You realize of course that we could never be friends.
Sally Albright: Why not?
Harry Burns: What I’m saying is – and this is not a come-on in any way, shape or form – is that men and women can’t be friends because the sex part always gets in the way.
Sally Albright: That’s not true. I have a number of men friends and there is no sex involved.
Harry Burns: No you don’t.
Sally Albright: Yes I do.
Harry Burns: No you don’t.
Sally Albright: Yes I do.
Harry Burns: You only think you do.
Sally Albright: You say I’m having sex with these men without my knowledge?
Harry Burns: No, what I’m saying is they all WANT to have sex with you.
Sally Albright: They do not.
Harry Burns: Do too.
Sally Albright: They do not.
Harry Burns: Do too.
Sally Albright: How do you know?
Harry Burns: Because no man can be friends with a woman that he finds attractive. He always wants to have sex with her.
Sally Albright: So, you’re saying that a man can be friends with a woman he finds unattractive?
Harry Burns: No. You pretty much want to nail ’em too.
Sally Albright: What if THEY don’t want to have sex with YOU?
Harry Burns: Doesn’t matter because the sex thing is already out there so the friendship is ultimately doomed and that is the end of the story.
Sally Albright: Well, I guess we’re not going to be friends then.
Harry Burns: I guess not.

You never know when this might happen to you..

This photo is named “Good Sugar Bad Sugar”

Both piles of sugar were poured onto the table from two individual bags. The pile on the right is clearly lacking in content compared to the larger pile on the left. You can never be too sure how many sugars you want in your coffee because you never know when this might happen to you.

I want to feel skin on the first date

For my birthday (which was on Tuesday the 20th, feel free to wish me happy birthdays) I got this letter,

Dear Annette,
I am writing you to wish you a happy birthday. I was hoping to be there for the celebration, but I am currently being held captive by an evil corporation. I have always dreamed of spending time with a beautiful woman like yourself. Since I cannot arrive on time (delayed flights are a bitch), I thought I would outline the time we will spend together.

I hope we start off really close. I want to feel your skin on the first date. I tend to be a little clingy and will follow you everywhere. We will sleep together and work together. I will keep you warm and comfortable. You can use me when you want,I will make you look good. I do an excellent job representing what you are proud of.

I hope your birthday is the best.

Sincerely,
Your 2 Legged Friend

Attached to the letter was a present. I opened the present and it was a picture of some sweatpants from my school. Then I laughed out loud. I am glad the present wasn’t there because this letter was hilarious.

“I swear it’s NOT dirty”

While sitting on a train full of business men with my sister Rosey (who looks like my twin but she’s not) looking at all the pictures in my phone when we came across this one…

https://www.t-mobilepictures.com/myalbum/photos/photo13/71/0a/cf40440e180d.jpeg

Me: “I don’t know what it is”
Sister: “I don’t want to look at it anymore, it’s probably something dirty”
Me: “I swear it’s not dirty!”

Then we received very strange looks from all the men sitting around us listening to our conversation without being able to see what we were looking at.

Still not sure what it was we switched to the next picture…

Me: “I took a picture of this because it was the biggest one I have ever seen!”

Then we received even more looks from the business men sitting around us. Remember they have no idea what we are looking at.

Sister:That came out dirty, you should probably be more careful of what you say”

Apparently I didn’t learn my lesson because later on while on the phone with a friend (and during the same train ride) I said rather loudly, “I love strippers!” I was being sarcastic but the old creeper sitting in front of me turned around and said, “I love strippers too”

Frustration

Registering for classes at my school is just as frustrating as this bra…

Frustration

I was a very persistent little pest and ended up getting into the classes I want/need. Just like this bra, it took a lot of determination but the end result is worth it.
